William Stickney the Immigrant

The commonly accepted birth information of the English immigrant William Stickney is questioned due to lack of genealogical proof. The popular account comes from Matthew Adams Stickney, but even he noted that the information was “inferred.” Another account by Emily Stickney Spencer presents a detailed line of descent, but fails to provide concrete evidence.
